The Yarwell History Group are a small group of 15 Yarwell Mill residents.
Our aim is to delve into the history of Yarwell, Nassington and surrounding villages.
We also arrange visits to Stately homes, castles, guided tours around local towns, and other places of interest.
We try to photograph and write reports of our trips for viewers of this website to enjoy in the hope they will follow in our footsteps and enjoy some of the local area history as much as we do.
Historical documents and maps have recently been recovered dating back to when Yarwell was part of the Apethorpe Estate.
The BHO – British History On Line have web pages for a number of towns and villages up and down the country and the following links will take you to respective pages of local interest.
